Geaniel Davids is the founding director of DAI and has more than 14 years of experience. Prior to the law firm being established, she practiced as junior counsel at the Johannesburg Society of Advocates. She has significant litigation experience, having appeared before numerous courts, disciplinary tribunals, and commercial arbitrations. Geaniel is further competent in handling commercial and insolvency matters as well as employment and labour disputes.

In 2019, she obtained her LLM in International Sports Law from Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid: Universidad Europea Madrid, in Spain. Thereafter she gained experience in the sports law department at Pinto Ruiz and Del Valle Abogados and Economistas in Barcelona, where she gained practical experience in anti-doping, football matters as well as litigating before institutions like FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

She served as a member of the nominations committee of the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC).
